Berry Sweet Lip Treatment Minis Trio Set
Reviewed for Sephora

Our Honest Review
If my lips could leave a Yelp review, they’d give this set five stars and a standing ovation—with one tiny asterisk.
I picked up the LANEIGE Berry Sweet Lip Treatment Minis Trio Set after yet another week of winter wind chapping my lips into oblivion. For $32, you get one mini Lip Sleeping Mask and two mini Lip Glowy Balms. It’s firmly in “treat yourself” territory, not dollar-store chapstick, but the idea of a full little lip-care wardrobe in one box sold me.
What you actually get & how it feels
The minis are exactly that: mini. The balms are about half the size of the regular tubes, which is adorable until you realize you’re burning through them faster than your willpower in a Sephora sale. On the flip side, they’re perfect for purses, pockets, and people who like to try things before committing to a full size.
Formula-wise, this set earns its almost-perfect rating (around 4.8/5 from dozens of reviews, which I checked after I fell in love with it). The Lip Sleeping Mask is thick, cushiony, and sweetly scented—think berry/vanilla dessert, not medicinal ointment. When I put it on at night, it’s still hanging out on my lips in the morning, which is rare for anything that lives on my face. My lips feel softer, smoother, and less “I’ve been picking them all day out of anxiety” (if you know, you know).
The two Lip Glowy Balms are the daytime heroes: glossy but not gloopy, with that same sweet, candy-esque, fruity-vanilla vibe. They keep my lips feeling hydrated and a little plush while looking cute and shiny. They’re the kind of balms that make you reapply because you like the experience, not because your lips instantly dried out again.
Performance on fussy lips
I have fussy, occasionally sensitive skin, and this set played surprisingly nice. It lines up with what others have said: the formula is gentle enough even for people with eczema-prone or sensitive skin yet rich enough to actually keep lips smooth instead of just sitting there looking pretty.
That said, there is one important caveat: the berry versions can be a problem if you’re sensitive. At least one person had a full-on “my lips are raw and angry” reaction specifically to the berry mask and balm, while the vanilla and candy-like scents were fine. On me, the berry was just sweet and delicious—but if your lips tend to freak out over fragrance, patch test first and don’t slather it on like frosting right away.
Packaging: cute, but… why like this?
Here’s where my love letter turns into a gentle roast.
First, the Lip Sleeping Mask in this set does not come with an applicator. You’re dipping a finger into the pot like it’s 2010, which isn’t the most hygienic for something that lives on your nightstand. It’s not a dealbreaker, but for the price, including the little spatula would’ve been a nice touch.
Second, the way the three scents are arranged (think stacked rather than side-by-side) makes accessing the lower ones oddly annoying. You kind of have to dig in or wait until you’ve used a lot of the top layer, and by then you’re smushing one into the other. It’s very “cute idea, slightly chaotic execution.”
So, is it worth it?
For me, yes—with enthusiasm but not blindness.
Pros:
- Genuinely hydrating, long-lasting Lip Sleeping Mask
- Glowy, comfortable balms that actually help, not just shine
- Delicious berry/vanilla/candy-leaning scents without a waxy taste
- Great little gift set or intro to LANEIGE lip products
- Excellent for dry, cold-weather lips
Cons:
- Balms are tiny half-size minis; you will finish them
- No applicator for the mask
- Packaging layout is not as user-friendly as it is cute
- Berry scent may be irritating for very sensitive or allergy-prone lips
My personal rating: 4/5. My lips are happy, my winter dryness is under control, and I’d absolutely buy this again—especially as a gift or a “one of everything” starter set. Just go in knowing the minis really are mini, keep your expectations realistic about the packaging, and maybe treat berry like a first date, not a marriage, until you know how your lips feel about it.
